Straight and curved rails manufactured with aluminum alloy for aviation purposes,which can be spliced or combined as needed, placed on the ground or elevated structure. XT5-R is equipped with a new generation of electronic control system. It boasts a multifunctional remote control with 3D joysticks, which are capable of setting and controlling the dolly, stabilizer, video camera/camera, and follow focus motor. The operations are simple and clear, easy and quick to learn.

It is highly compatible with the DJI RS SDK protocol, boasting the panning, tilting, rolling, motor locking, neutral and other functions of DJI RS3 PRO stabilizer, as well as follow focus motor control of DJI RS. Moreover, control of the camera’s commonly used functions, such as recording, taking pictures, auto-focus, etc. can be achieved through RS3 PRO.

It is also compatible with the D.BUS protocol, capable of controlling the panning, tilting, rolling, neutral of DJI R2 stabilizer.

It applies to Sony cameras with multi-purpose ports, such as A7SIII, FX3, FX30, etc., and it’s capable of controlling the zoom*, recording, photo-taking and auto-focus functions of the cameras;

It is also compatible with the lanc protocol, suitable for most video cameras with a Φ2.5mm remote control jack, and capable of controlling the zoom, focus, iris, recording and other functions of video cameras, such as Sony Z90/FX6 and other models.

The dolly can search for the stoppers autonomously and set virtual starting and stopping points (A/B safety points) automatically. No matter the dolly intends to accelerate or decelerate, operate with constant speed or change direction, it can operate within a safe range formed between these two points.

In addition to the safety points, 2 keys can be set. Thus, a total of 4 key points can be preset and the dolly can be run to the desired position at any time as needed.

After presetting the keys, the auto-cruise function could achieve five-axis synchronous operation and cruise shooting, with the dolly, stabilizer, follow focus motor and other devices all working simultaneously.

*The synchronous operation takes the speed of the dolly as the reference value. When there’s a big difference between the speed of the dolly and that of the stabilizer or the follow focus motor, it will exceed the allowed range of synchronous operation.

Thanks to the optimization algorithm, the dolly will start and stop with corresponding damping buffer according to the speed, so as to ensure gentle and smooth starts and stops.

The remote control frequency can be switched between 868 or 915MHZ, with a control distance of more than 100 meters in an open environment. Moreover, switch between 4 frequency points can be achieved in each band, allowing multiple sets of devices to be used in the same scene.

Apart from wireless remote control, it also supports RS485 wired control (RJ-45)* and digital communication protocol, with stable and reliable signal, which can realize long-distance remote control across space and obstacles, up to 1000 meters.

*The PRO version supports wired control, and the control cable should be CAT-5e or higher configuration, which should be prepared by the user.

Users can control the dolly with pedals according to their own habits *. There are two pedals, left and right ones, to control the forward and backward operations respectively. The user may step on the pedal to control the moving of the dolly, and it will stop as the pedal is released. You can control the dolly as you wish with the pedals.

The V-shaped lithium battery will ensure power supply. The battery is easy to use and replace, capable of meeting the need to work for long hours.

It is equipped with hydraulic-pressure spring stoppers, which can be fixed at both ends of the rails to prevent accidental derailment of the dolly. So you can use it without worrying about derailment.
